RACE RETRAIN RECOVER

Mission Motorsport, The forces’ motorsport charity aids in the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations by providing opportunities through Motorsport and the Automotive Industry

More than 2000 WIS beneficiaries have been engaged through over 900 days of events delivered by the charity since 2012. Our varied and exciting sporting opportunities help us access those who are ‘harder to reach’ and provide an exceptional vocational assessment and development tool.

From big industry to small , 300 wounded MM beneficiaries have successfully accessed employment through the charity’s training and placement schemes. Over 2000 veterans have found work in total. Employment – in full- or part-time work – is an incredibly important part of a sustainable and constructive future for our veterans and their families.

Despite circumstances that would prove a barrier to many, MM veterans continue to demonstrate that they are well-suited to the automotive industry, and their skills are recognised and rewarded by employers. MM alumni are happily filling important roles in Formula 1, Formula E and World Rally Championship teams as well as at leading automotive manufacturers.
